THE FIRM
Tame The Noise was built by two people who kept ending up in the same rooms, working on the same problems from very different angles. In the end, the work they did together became the firm.

LinkedInMark has spent 20 years building things. Companies, products, teams, and a few ideas that did not survive contact with reality. He has done it in a lot of different industries, so the same patterns keep showing up. What works in consumer goods works elsewhere. What breaks in a fast-growing company looks familiar from health care. The work has always been the same. Build something from nothing, rebuild it when it needs it, and know which one you are doing.
Today that means advising founders and CEOs at the points where one decision changes where the company ends up. A raise. An exit. A ceiling on growth. A strategy that reads well and is not working. He has sat on both sides of those calls, as the operator and as the advisor, in consumer goods, health care, and tech. He does the work himself. There is no bench, no junior partner, no deck built from a template.
“I've worked in enough industries to know the problems are usually the same. Only the setting changes.”

LinkedInLuke started out as a construction CEO. Then he ran nonprofits. Then he became a coach. Not because he could not pick a lane. Because the same problem showed up in every room. Good people, and no clear sense of what they were building toward.
He can read a company and the person inside it, usually at the same time. That mix is hard to find and harder to teach, and it is why the coaching work is his. It might be one person in the middle of a big change. It might be a leader facing a call that will not wait. It might be a team that has stopped pulling the same way. The work underneath is the same. Find out what is really going on, with someone who has sat in that chair.
“Most people aren't stuck. They're just solving the wrong problem.”
